A Note on Team Effort

This project is based on an exceptional collaborative effort of a group of young researchers. Christian Thiemann, Rafael Brune, Alejandro Morales Gallardo and Vincent David have devoted their entire days and frequently sacrificed their nights, too, for this project during the past weeks. My students Daniel Grady and Olivia Woolley have contributed their ideas, comments and helped wherever they could. All of them set their current research projects aside and completely focused their attention and resources to this project. Running our computer simulations, extracting valuable information from the raw data, producing projections, developing new scenarios, optimizing computational methods, detecting each other’s errors in a timely fashion in this project requires a very coordinated type of team work and aside from professional skills, personal ones as well. This team has done and still does an excellent job and it is certain that this research effort would not have been feasible without this team. I am very proud of them and thankful.

Dirk Brockmann
